And you have spoken a great truth - we need to TAKE THE TIME to stop and notice. There's something to be said about "smelling the roses!"

GOD BLESS!Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00840994989201507494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168946904182381428.post-66473241553748122252011-01-26T17:04:07.726-08:002011-01-26T17:04:07.726-08:00Wow! It seems like God's beautiful landscape always brings me close to Him when I stop and take notice!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07194577170300476509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168946904182381428.post-9013211476541893362011-01-26T13:35:31.379-08:002011-01-26T13:35:31.379-08:00Wanda - Can you imagine anything better than an ET...Wanda - Can you imagine anything better than an ETERNITY in the very Presence of the King?! I find it very reassuring that our King lives OUTSIDE of time - and that He never changes - that He is the Sovereign Lord of our EVERY moment...

Sandra - You're so very kind. That last thought came to me from the Lord - and it gave me little chills, too. Keep looking for those "eternal" moments - they're all over the place. Moments that give us just a "taste" for what the Lord has in store for us. Oh, it's going to be glorious!! (And yes, we continue to be "aligned" so often :)

Sandie - Yes, I think about that moment. I think that that is perhaps when the Lord draws closest to us. When He ushers us "over the threshold" - when we pass from "time" into eternity. The most valuable time of all...

Debby - I like how you said "my own space time continuum!" Clever! And yes, God makes ALL our times GOOD - even when we can't see them that way from our finite perspective.

Shay - I absolutely have a new friend in you! Isn't it great to "meet" in Blog Land?! God has "appointed" this time for us to get to know each other! And yes, you probably will know a lot about me through my blog. I try to be transparent - even when I don't want to share some of the "ugly!!!"

Janette - Glad you liked this one. Our awe will probably turn into "AHHHHH!!" as we gaze on the incomprehensible majesty of our God!
As to the comment about children - I've often said that they come out like a piece of cloth - one might be cotton, one might be silk, etc. They are what they are. But then, as parents, we influence what they become. We "guide" them through the sewing machine - helping them become all that they can be.

Kerrie - What a great point you bring up. We MUST make good use of our time. I try to think of each new day as God saying, "You still have work to do!" And you have listed some of the BEST uses of our time - praying, reading and hearing the Word, repenting, praising, worshiping, growing and glowing for Him...AMEN - all to HIS glory!

GOD BLESS, you guys! Think about forever...Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00840994989201507494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168946904182381428.post-26708291943934043542011-01-26T09:54:05.534-08:002011-01-26T09:54:05.534-08:00I’m currently downloading updates for my iPod, the...I’m currently downloading updates for my iPod, the ESV Bible Chronological Readings along with some other interesting Christian downloads. One of the titles of the downloads is called “You’ve Got The Time” which really grabbed my attention. Yes, praise God, for He alone gives ‘time’ and I need to use that time wisely. So I pray that today, and everyday, that my time will be well spent, reading and hearing God’s word, praying, repenting my sins, praising and worshiping God, growing and glowing for Him, and may He receive all the Glory!Kerriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09415168156854751135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168946904182381428.post-38505478493250585352011-01-25T16:55:02.432-08:002011-01-25T16:55:02.432-08:00Great post...wow, how your mind thinks and communi...Great post...wow, how your mind thinks and communicates...awesome..I was right there when you threw back you head and got it...been in that spot at times...and yes forever will be even greater than what we see as our "awe" moments. Good post.

Thanks for your comment at Lea's on my post...you wrote what my husband and I talked about today...so many times people will feel that a child is the way he is because of his training...well we have seen most of our six were the way God made them from the beginning...and we have more strong-willed than passive...that can cause you to question your ability to parent, but mostly it causes us to step back and watch God!!..the real parent of our children and what He does through parents who are sinners and fallen shortJanettessage.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01262598732466380229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168946904182381428.post-9544176646606795642011-01-25T15:54:13.013-08:002011-01-25T15:54:13.013-08:00Sharon...I loved this post. My post yesterday had, somewhat, such references.lioneaglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10257690196451550476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168946904182381428.post-36894906550965792332011-01-25T04:45:00.199-08:002011-01-25T04:45:00.199-08:00It's weird just how fluid time is.
