Closing out another hour quick...Blessings Sharon, <br /><br />Closing out another hour quickly at the cyber, so I thought I'd catch up on a few of your "fan the flame" words... but you know by now I'm never "short and sweet" like you...<br /><br />Skipped 8 above and came directly to comments:<br /><i>How do you define the word seek?<br /><br />Is it the same as looking for something, or is it different?<br /><br />How and where do you seek the Lord?</i><br /><br />Seek= to search and look specifically for something<br /><br />However with God... it means much more as I seek Him diligently (part of SOAR's 8 weeks of "S") so with God, I am sure that it is much deeper than just looking for, but going really in depth to search with all your heart and being to encounter much more than the surface... to really KNOW... <br /><br />I seek the Lord where ever I am but enjoy it much more away from the noise of the world!<br />I daily need to seek Him, so I go to Him in prayer, at home, in my van, in church, in the street, when in need for His wisdom, in His Word, in a song, in nature... Seeking implies and earnestness and intensity of seeking UNTIL what you are seeking is found. When we lost my niece at Dollywood when she was little, we were SEEKERS. We were not lookers.<br /><br />I seek God in his Word and in my prayers.
