JUST IN CASE YOU FORGET...

Listen to Me.

I have cared for you since you were born.
Yes, I carried you before you were born.

I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age.

I made you, and I will care for you.
I will carry you along and save you.

To whom will you compare Me?
Who is My equal?

Do not forget this!
Keep it in mind!
Remember this...

Remember the things I have done in the past.
For I alone am God!

I am God, and there is none like Me.

Only I can tell you the future before it even happens.
Everything I plan will come to pass.
I have said what I would do, and I will do it.

I am ready to save and show My glory!

Long ago I told you what was going to happen.
All my predictions will come true.

I have refined you in the furnace of suffering.
But, I will rescue you for My sake - yes, for My own sake!
I will not let My reputation be tarnished.

I alone am God - the First and the Last.

I will teach you what is good for you.
I will lead you along the paths you should follow.
I will give you peace flowing like a gentle river.

Remember...

I alone am God!

I am God, and there is none like Me.

P.S. And I love you so very much!

  1. This is a beautiful passage. In times like these, when I feel the world is completely upside down, I need to be reminded that God alone is God.

  2. Thanks, Sharon. As a dramatist, I will often put Scripture into conversational terms as though it were lines in a play. Your Words today greet me in the morning when I have a writing deadline upon me within hours. He will care for me - and my deadline - turning it to His Lifeline where I will - inspired by Him - surf beyond the rocky writer's block onto the shoreline of my 300 words worthy of print.

    Thanks for the good Word!
    Joy to you!

  4. Very comforting as I go through the aging
process. The Lord will not forget us when
our hair is gray. He has always carried
us. I have read this several times today
on blogs. The Spirit is speaking.

  5. I read this post earlier this morning and just whispered "amen" through my tears...so I just had to come back by and say "thank you"...

  8. Debbie - I can think of nothing else to lean on in an upside down world than the Rock. May He keep us all steady and grounded.

Kathy - Don't the words just come alive when we *dramatize* them? Hope your deadline was met - knowing you, you came through with flying colors!! Would love to know what you were writing about.

Nita - You'll just never know how much I need to hear and BELIEVE these words right now. Glad you enjoyed them, too.

Sandy - Yes, it is a comfort to know that God is with us as we age. He knows our every step - before we were born He planned them. I have to rely on that in my "gray (but dyed!) hair" years.

Karen - Oh, you're so welcome. I've had to come back and read them myself. I am being tested, and these promises are the life preserver I'm hanging on to.

Sandie - He loves YOU big-time!!!

Betty - I have this vision of God saying that - and it just booms through the skies like thunder. Isn't it amazing that He also chooses to speak in a still, small voice?

Anita - You're welcome, friend. It's a good thing to end our days with the Word of God - comforting and encouraging us. Helping us to sleep in peace.

    GOD BLESS!

  9. Blessings Sharon, I thought with your time off that I'd finally catch up with the posts that I missed to comment on. However, I did not miss reading them...just trying to figure out which ones I missed.

I'm so glad that you wrote this and that many were blessed by these words. I'm especially touched by what Karen wrote... because she had a fall this past weekend, broke her arm and hurt her knee and she has surgery this Fri.

I'm so thankful that God wrote us to let us know
this:"I will be your God throughout your lifetime - until your hair is white with age."

Blessed by how you use this writing gift to allow Isaiah to speak to us today through a keyboard and God's love! Encouragement is two way and building your faith too... well, you give me inspiration and I thought of your PRE comment words and your recent messages as I wrote in my Secret Garden! Noticing the void without you but praying that God is filling your time with your husband with many blessings and much love. I thank God for you both and that you may be enjoying a wonderful anniversary!

May your troubles be few and far in between and
love and encouragement abound in leaps of a FROG!

    Peace and JOY,
    Peggy

  10. Peggy - Thanks for this lovely comment. I find it so very comforting that the same God who knew me before I was born, is still with me now, and will be with me until I join Him in eternity. Such a blessed promise. I didn't know any of that information about Karen - I will certainly keep her in prayers.

    GOD BLESS!

"So [I] have been greatly encouraged in the midst of [my] troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives [me] new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord. How [I] thank God for you!" (1 Thessalonians 3:7-9)

Thanks for your comments - it is such a joy to be sharing my journey with friends like YOU!
