They are a compilation of verses from Isaiah 30 & 33, and Psalm 63.
In quietness and confidence is your strength.
Blessed are those who wait for the Lord's help.
He will be gracious if you ask for His help.
He will surely respond to the sound of your cries.
For He is a faithful God.
He will be with you to teach you.
Your own ears will hear Him.
Right behind you a Voice will say, "This is the way you should go."
The Lord will make His majestic Voice heard.
He will display the strength of His mighty arm.
The Lord will greatly bless His people.
He will be merciful.
He will be our strong arm each day, and our salvation in times of trouble.
O God, You are my God.
I earnestly search for You.
My soul thirsts for You, in this parched and weary land.
You satisfy me.
I sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings.
You hold me securely.
I cling to You.
I TRUST IN YOU.
YOU ARE MY TREASURE!
Amen, my friends?!
AMEN!
BLOG = "Blessedly Leaning On God!"
Right behind you a Voice will say, "This is the way you should go."

That's my favorite one of all. I needed to remember it this moring too. I have a friend who calls it "An adventure of Prayer" when you embark on a prayer journey. She says that you pray over each step and listen for God to tell you which direction to turn.
Interesting that both this post and another I read this morning speak of waiting on the LORD.
Hi Sharon,
ReplyDeleteThanks for speaking a good word to all of us.
Blessings and peace.
MTJ
I have that Isaiah one memorized about hearing his voice behind me showing me which way to go (of course now it has escaped my mind so I can memorize it correctly and include the verse, LOL)
ReplyDeleteI love Psalm 63. I prayed it for a season of my life. Awesome words.
but then that is how the Bible is; filled iwth awesome words because they are God's words!

Wonderful post, as always, dear friend! Thank you so much for the reassuring words of His grace & love!
ReplyDeleteThose are filled with His love for us. Thank you for the reminder. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteAmen and Amen! I had to read this post a few times because it is so good! Thank you so much for sharing these verses with us!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharon...sure needed these verse reminders today! Hugs....T
ReplyDeleteDebbie - That was my favorite part, too. So many of my friends seem to be in a season of "waiting" on the Lord. Hmmm...maybe He's got something in mind for all of us?! Knowing Him, He does :)
ReplyDeleteAren't you glad that God's Word has depth and meaning? (certainly more than the "Spam Blocker Words" on my post yesterday! HA!!)
MTJ - The best word I could speak is HIS Word. Blessings to you, too!
Betty - What a great idea to pray a Psalm. I really liked the part that said, "in this parched and weary land..." I don't know about you, but sometimes this old fallen world just feels like one big desert. Thank goodness that God is an oasis of "Living Water!"
Merana - Thanks! I'm glad that you found reassurance in these words - I sure did!
Debby - You have a blessed day, too. I appreciate you visiting - I so enjoyed my visit over on your "blog porch" too!
Alisa - Sometimes when I just isolate the phrases out of the verses, they wash over me like a shower of blessing. God speaks, we listen - our hearts are encouraged!!
Tina - Sometimes when words are not enough (you know what I mean), it is a great comfort to be able to speak GOD'S words to someone. I'm glad that they helped you. I continue in my prayers for all of you...
GOD BLESS, friends!
Greetings -
ReplyDeleteYes, GOD is our TREASURE - excellent is His name!
This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23 - KJV)
Sandra - Welcome! Thank you for joining me on the journey. God is indeed a TREASURE!! He IS excellent - a perfection too marvelous to understand! Thanks for sharing the verse - beautiful!! BLESSINGS TO YOU!
