ISAIAH INSPIRATION

But now, O Sharon (put your name in here, too!), listen to the LORD who created you.

The One who formed you says:

"DO NOT BE AFRAID, for I have ransomed you.
I have called you BY NAME - you are MINE.

When you go through deep waters, I WILL BE WITH YOU.
When you go through rivers of difficulty, YOU WILL NOT DROWN.
When you walk through the fire of oppression, YOU WILL NOT BE BURNED UP - the flames WILL NOT CONSUME YOU.

For I am the LORD, your God, your Savior.

Another was given in exchange for you.
I traded His life for yours because you are precious to Me.
I love you.

So, DO NOT BE AFRAID - for I AM WITH YOU.

You are My servant.
You have chosen to know Me, believe in Me, and understand that I alone am God.
There is no other God - there never has been, and there never will be.

I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is NO OTHER Savior.

From eternity to eternity I am God.
NO ONE can snatch anyone out of My hand.
NO ONE can undo what I have done.

But forget what I have done in the past - it is nothing compared to what I am going to do!

For I am about to do something NEW.
See, I have already begun!
Do you not see it?

I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland - so you can be refreshed.

I have made you for Myself, and you will someday honor Me before the whole world."

(From Isaiah 43)

  2. Hi Sharon -

You went from "RIDING ON THE WALL" yesterday to HALLELUJAH HEIGHTS with this piece today.

Thank you for this, Sharon. For this "moment" in my life, it is golden in spiritual strengthening indeed.

    Oh! Glory Hallelujah!

Interesting that on my post today, I used a scripture from Genesis 39:21 - KJV, "But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour..."

Then I come here and read, "I AM WITH YOU."

GOD is so amazing in how He shows His love and sovereignty!

  6. Certainly needed today. That He loves me,
owns me, and calls me by name causes all
    else to fade in importance.

  8. "Fear Not! for I am with you says the LORD" words that are "sweeter than honey" to me, for He is with me and I shall not want.

  9. Thank You Lord for writing this through Sharon and confirming that You will never leave us nor forsake us!

Glory...hallelujah! I needed this Word! My memory verse for Siesta Scripture Memory team is Isaiah 43:10. So this is fresh in my heart and mind.

I love Isaiah! I love the Word personalized! I love how you freely write and express God's Word to us!

Thanks for this encouragement from God.
    Bless you for sharing.

  10. Julie - YES! I do love how God shows us time and again - just what we need to hear! His Word is such a light and lamp, isn't it?

Sandra - God is so awesome - so faithful - and so timely in what He has to say to us! Hallelujah for His impeccable timing!

Nita - They are indeed the most wonderful words ever. Especially this - He knows me BY NAME...such comfort.

Sandie - Yes, words of hope and peace. The two things that I need more than anything else...

Janette - I love that God does NOT say there won't be wilderness experiences - but He does promise that He will be there, and His presence will refresh us. That en-courages me!

Sandy - Oh, I so agree. How often I get distracted by things. I need to be reminded - I belong to God, He loves me -

Joan - Yes, these are some of my favorite words in the Word. Sometimes I forget that God is there in the middle of every overwhelming time in my life.

Kerrie - Fear not! How I could chant those words over and over again! They are indeed "sweeter than honey..."

Peggy - Thanks! I also love Isaiah - and so often, I've found comfort and hope there. God is the very best en-courager, isn't He?

    GOD BLESS!

"So [I] have been greatly encouraged in the midst of [my] troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives [me] new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord. How [I] thank God for you!" (1 Thessalonians 3:7-9)
