  1. Sharon...I'm a follower on your other blog Bible "PICK 'EMS" and hop over to read this blog from there.

Commercialzation of Christmas seems to get worse every year with no end in sight. I guess it'll stop when He returns. Personally I can hardly wait.

  3. Stan - I agree. It's a sad truth - commercialization does get worse each year. And people seem to be determined to spend more and more on "stuff" we don't need. I'm kinda eager for Jesus' return appearance, too! I did see one encouraging thing this week. A couple of blogs have featured a group of people that "randomly" sang "The Hallelujah Chorus" in a food court at a mall. It was truly beautiful - love that song, and loved seeing our Messiah praised in a public place - kinda set the priorities straight for a moment!

Andrea - Glad you like that! He must be our "benchmark" for truth and wisdom - for guidance and direction in all things. I've had a great Sunday - hope you did, too!

    GOD BLESS!

"So [I] have been greatly encouraged in the midst of [my] troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives [me] new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord. How [I] thank God for you!" (1 Thessalonians 3:7-9)
