This is what I, the LORD, have to say:
Be prepared.
Patiently correct and encourage people with good teaching.
Keep a clear head in every situation.
Don't be afraid of suffering for My sake.
Work at telling others the Good News.
Fully carry out the ministry I have given you.
Each day proclaim My Salvation.
Publish My glorious deeds.
Tell everyone about the amazing things I do.
Recognize that I am glorious and strong.
Worship Me in all My Holy Splendor.
Come to Me with praise and thanksgiving.
Fight the good fight, run your race, and remain faithful.
I will reward you with a Crown of Righteousness.
I will bring you safely into My Heavenly Kingdom!
For I am a great God.
Who is like Me, and who can challenge Me?
Listen to My Voice...today!
For you are the people I watch over - the flock under My care!
I am the Rock of your Salvation!
Love you all,
God

ReplyDeleteof life and truth!

Hi Sharon -
ReplyDeleteYes indeed this is the Lord speaking. Clearly it is HIM!
Thank you, Sharon, for sharing this.
Sidebar: I heard a testimony this morning where a man who grew up in Christian home, went wayward...the Lord spoke to him one day and told him, "If you don't come to me today, I will NOT be back this way." The Lord warned him that He would no longer draw him with His Spirit. The man obeyed GOD and now is a minister....
I love how you do these Sharon!! they are always so awesome on how you expound from the Lord's word his promises, blessings, protection, etc :)

I love it when you do this. You know, I think it would be a WONDERFUL retreat activity to write out what God says using his word the way you do.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Wonder if I have time to fit it in this weekend.
You always have such encouraging words to share with us. Glad I stopped by for a visit.
ReplyDeleteAmen! This owner's manual is one we never should misplace...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comment on my blog....
I like that He is my rock and my salvation! Good to know! Sandie
ReplyDeleteKatie - YOU BET! God is good!
ReplyDeleteNita - Glad that God encouraged you today!
Sandy - Life and truth, indeed! God's Word still reigns!
Sandra - I read these Scriptures, and I just HEAR Him speak! Loved your comment in the "sidebar." I love that God spoke, and that that young man LISTENED! And how He blessed the return of the prodigal!!
Betty - I'm so glad you like these! I have fun writing them - because I can just hear God speaking as I write! It's so exciting...
Debbie - So much of God's Word just seems to tumble out like a letter. Written just for us - each word. You know - that's a great idea about using this as a retreat activity - it could even work in a class or Bible Study. Have to keep that in mind. (I sent you a short email - long one to follow soon - but is your retreat THIS weekend?!)
Denise - Oh, thank you, my friend. It always makes me smile a little bigger when you stop by! Glad God spoke His encouraging words to you today!
Karen - And it's an owner's manual that we should actually READ - unlike the one sitting in my glove compartment!! I continue to think of you in your difficult time...
Sandie - I love ALL of God's "titles" - but knowing what you know about how I love rocks - ROCK OF MY SALVATION is one of the best!!
GOD BLESS, dear ones...
