AMEN - LET IT BE SO!

Let every created being give praise to the LORD.
For He issued His command and they came into being.
Let them all praise the name of the LORD.

For His name is very great.
His glory towers over the earth and heaven!

He has made His people strong, honoring His faithful ones - the people who are close to Him.

Watch, for the day of the LORD is coming!
Then the LORD will go out to fight.
The LORD my God will come, and all His holy ones with Him.

And the LORD will be King over all the earth.
On that day there will be ONE LORD.
His name ALONE will be worshiped.

PRAISE THE LORD!

We should lift our praise to the LORD - for what He has done, and for who He is.

When's the last time you let yourself be carried away with a swelling tide of praise?

Are you singing your part well?

(From Zechariah 14 and Psalm 148)

  1. Hi Sharon -

    Yes - Amen

Let everything that has breath praise our Lord.

    Shout the victories.

The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Thank you, Sharon, for the praise call...!

  2. Oh I agree Sharon - I keep thinking every day that we get up - we can read this - we can hear the tv - we can talk to someone - we have blessings others don't have - right off the bat. Our blessings list is never ending.

  3. ohhh yes, I am... PRAISING daily and throughout the day whenever I see the glory of His hand!

Blessing Sharon... wonderful WORD for us! Choosing to sing and shout triumphantly for His Name, His precious holy Name, His faithfulness, His strength, His provision, His protection, His beauty all around me... I am ever so grateful and hardly ever hold back alone or with others!

Great is His Name! So greatly and worthy is HE to receive our praises!

Thanks for your wonderful, thoughtful responses once again at Moore 4 Monday! You're fantastic.
A fan of the One and only King of kings!

    Peace and JOY,
    Peggy

  5. No I am NOT singing my part well.

And btw, how did I miss this one? I checked my blogroll yesterday and even came here just to read other comments but didn't see it. I really needed to see it, too. I think it's Satan messing with my computer. (I really do... not just being funny.)

That last little line, coupled with your encourager post has me thinking about the fact that I'm trying to sing solo instead of doing "MY PART". I'm thinking this today...

My praise right now needs to be part part of the harmony of praise lifted by other believers. I'm spending too much time alone these days (real life I mean) and need to take this little light of mine and find some singing saints to join.

I am always, always, blessed by coming here. God uses you in a mighty way.

  6. Sandra - You're welcome. I just have to say, YOU are singing VERY well! And you PARTICULARLY sing the WORD of God loud and clear and beautifully!

Sandie - Yes! I didn't like it much when my mom would tell me to count my blessings - my "pity party" was much more fun. But...OH! How I've learned that she was right! God's blessings really ARE too numerous to count - the "right off the bat" ones you mentioned were perfect!

Peggy - I hear your voice all the way up here in California. And it's a clear, beautiful voice! Your grateful spirit, and your words of praise, always uplift me, and point me to God. (I'm really enjoying the Beth Moore questions!)

Sandy - LOL! It's funny - I think when it comes to His beloved children singing His praises - God does not hear "off key" - He just hears a symphony of blended harmonies - truly "music to His ears..."

Debbie - I hear you on the computer thing. No worries - I'm going to believe that God wanted you to hear this one TODAY. How I wish we lived closer together. I'd sing with you - and bob my head, and even sway my hips a little. And yet, Debbie - I think we are singing together. I will pray for other "local" sisters - because I think you're right on the "isolation" thing. Satan is a predator, and predators like to separate their prey from the herd...
Thank you so much for your kind comment - you bless me, too. (And I AM going to email you soon - can't believe how busy this week has been - not a good excuse, but it's better than the dog ate my homework...)

    GOD BLESS!

"So [I] have been greatly encouraged in the midst of [my] troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives [me] new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord. How [I] thank God for you!" (1 Thessalonians 3:7-9)
