HAIL THE ALMIGHTY ONE

The LORD says:

I will bring them through the fire and make them pure.
I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold.

They will call on My name, and I will answer them.
I will say - "These are My people."
And they will say - "The LORD is our God."

Praise the LORD!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.
His judgments are true and just.

Praise our God, all His servants, all who fear Him, from the least to the greatest.

For the LORD our God, the Almighty, reigns!

Let us be glad and rejoice.
Let us give honor to Him.
How good to sing the praises of our God.

He heals the brokenhearted, and bandages their wounds.
He supports the humble.

For the LORD has arrived to look after His flock.
He will make them strong and glorious.
Since the LORD is with them when they fight, they will become like
mighty warriors.

They will pass safely through the sea of distress.
He will lift up those who are weighed down.
By His power, God will make His people strong.

Joyful are those whose hope is in the LORD their God.

How great is our LORD!
His power is absolute!
His understanding is beyond comprehension!
He keeps every promise forever.
He will reign...

The LORD delights in those who fear Him, those who put their hope in His unfailing love!

Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb!

I will praise the LORD as long as I live!

(From Zechariah 10 & 13, Psalm 147, and Revelation 19)

  7. "For the LORD has arrived to look after His flock"

I just love that part. There's just something about the way it's written. Maybe it's because I belong to a local flock that needs a really good shepherd right now.

I enjoyed this as always. Took me a while to get here since my internet has been playing hide and seek for two days. On one minute. Off the next. What's a girl to do?

Go to her mom's of course.

"So [I] have been greatly encouraged in the midst of [my] troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives [me] new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord. How [I] thank God for you!" (1 Thessalonians 3:7-9)
